Today's line time lesson video is all about Venezuela! Miss Brittany, Miss April, and Mr. Sam will show you how to play a popular Venezuelan children's game: Marbles! You will also get to see some cool Venezuelan artifacts and meet Miss Brittany's dad who tells a funny story about when he lived in Venezuela a long time ago.
(NOTE TO PARENTS: We are aware of the political/economic crisis going on in Venezuela right now, but didn't include much about it because we wanted to keep this video fun and age appropriate for your child!)
Our story today is in spanish! "Ardilla Tiene Hambre" means "Squirrel is hungry."
Click on the photo of the book to hear Miss Carolina (the EA spanish teacher) read you this silly story and teach you some fun spanish words!
In today's lesson video, Miss Brittany shows our big South America puzzle map from the classroom and sings a song to help you remember all the names of the countries in South America! Click on this picture to find your own South American map to print out and color at home!
If you are interested in learning even more spanish from Miss Carolina, check out this fun and interactive spanish lesson about family! She hid a monkey in this video seven times - do you think you can find the sneaky monkey?!
